Israel Becomes The First Country in the world to completely ban fur, it’s a historic victory for animal lovers. You can no longer buy mink, fox, or any other animal coats in Israel after the country band fur.

The bill was signed by exiting  Minister of Environmental Protection Mrs. Gila Gamliel into law.

It is an effort following years of efforts from local animal activists in Israel, as well as international animal rights groups which include PETA, and PETA US Honorary Director Pamela Anderson. Pamela personally lobbied government officials in Tel Aviv on her last visit and appealed personally to Exiting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to support the ban on fur.

The proposal was supported by more than 85% of Israelis.

All over the world, many top designers and retailers like  Westwood, Burberry, Gucci, Versace, Armani, and Chanel have banned fur from their collections.
