A great healthy snack to confuse your sense. Better if prepared a few days ahead. The ingredients give a rich taste to the vegetable and will definitely surprise anyone skeptical towards vegan ‘bacon'.

Ingredients
- 3-4 carrots, sliced in thin strips
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp organic honey
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1tsp Dijon mustard
- ½ tsp liquid-smoke
How to prepare
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Oil a baking sheet and set it aside. Use a mandolin to slice medium-size carrots lengthwise into thin strips. Be extremely careful not to break the strips.
Combine all the ingredients except the carrots in a medium-sized bowl. Whisk them until smooth and brush both sides of the carrot with the mixture.
Place the carrots on the baking sheet and put them in the oven. Bake for approximately 10 minutes on each side. Cook for 5-10 more minutes until brown and get them out of the oven.
Leave them uncovered until cool. Store them at room temperature.
