Vegan Diet Can Be Better Than Meds For Your Heart

Cardiovascular diseases are one of the main reasons people die worldwide. It's up to each of us to make our own decisions about what to eat and how to live, but we should predict the consequences of our actions and watch what we put in our mouths.

Atherosclerosis

Atherosclerosis is the hardening of the arteries and begins as early as childhood. The arteries of nearly all kids raised on the “Junk Food” already have fatty streaks making them be in the first stages of the disease by the time they are 10 years old.

Plaques start forming by the age of 20, getting much worse in our 30s, and then can start killing us off. Either by a heart attack and in our brain, it can manifest as a stroke.

The choice isn't whether or not to eat healthfully to prevent heart disease it's whether or not we want to reverse the heart disease that we might already have.

Is it possible to reverse the disease?

Is that even possible? Yes, researchers find that when switching to a the disease actually started to reverse and get better. As soon as people stop eating artery-clogging diets, their bodies were able to start dissolving away some of the plaque, opening up arteries without drug intervention and without surgery, suggesting their bodies wanted to heal alone if giving the chance.

That improvement in blood flow to the heart muscle itself was after only three weeks of eating healthfully.

Healing the body

A well-known secret in medicine: Sometimes, given the right conditions, the body can heal itself.

Take, for instance, walking. When living a sedentary life, our body starts feeling tired, without energy, and maybe we start having different diseases, once we start walking a lot of symptoms disappear, we start feeling much more energetic even that we are burning calories and a lot of diseases too.

It's similar to people taking nitroglycerine for crushing chest pain. Once they take the pill They may get tremendous relief, but they're not doing anything to treat the underlying cause. Our body wants to come back to health if we let it, but if we keep re-damaging ourselves three times a day, taking pills and in that way, it may never heal.

We can injure our arteries with the food we eat. But, the only thing we need to do is stop damaging ourselves, and let our body's natural healing processes bring us back towards . The human body is a self-healing machine.

diets aren't just safer and cheaper. They can work better because they let us treat the actual cause of the disease.
