For the chocolate mousse, combine:
2 cups avocado, mashed or sliced
¼ cup raw cacao powder
1 cup of dates, pitted
1 tablespoon vanilla bean essence or powder
For the topping of chocolate pecan crumble:
⅓ cup raw cacao nibs
1/2 cup uncooked pecans
½ cup dates pitted
How to prepare:
For the chocolate mousse, combine avocado, cacao powder, dates, and vanilla bean in a high-speed blender until a thick, creamy consistency is reached. Place in serving dishes and reserve.
