Salted & Cinnamon Hot Cocoa

What is better than a cup of hot cocoa in the wintertime. This dairy-free option features antioxidant-rich cacao powder, mixed with and a pinch of salt. It is ready in minutes and is also naturally sweetened.
Serves 1-2

Ingredients

  • 360ml milk (I prefer Coconuts)
  • 2 tbsp raw cacao powder
  • ½ tsp
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ tsp pure extract
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • Toppings (optional):
  • Fluffy whipped cream
  • Cacao nibs


How to prepare


Heat the milk in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Mix in the cacao powder, cinnamon, salt, vanilla, and maple syrup. Boil the mixture, whisking frequently, then remove from the heat. Serve with a spoon of whipped cream and raw cacao nibs.
