Garlic Chickpea and Avocado Hummus Dip

What is the result of combining with hummus? The ideal party-pleaser, to be precise. This straightforward hummus from the books Fast Easy Cheap is a delicious appetizer.

Servings 8

Ingredients:

2 cups drained and rinsed canned

2 avocados pitted and peeled

¼ cup lime juice 

1 tablespoon

2 tablespoons tahini

2 peeled cloves

¾ teaspoon salt

1 pinch of black pepper

1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro for garnish

½ tsp crushed red pepper for garnish

For serving, tortilla chips, , pita triangles, or veggies.

How to prepare:

Add chickpeas, avocados, lime juice, oil, tahini, garlic, salt, and pepper to a food processor and pulse until totally smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as necessary.

Garnish the dip with chopped cilantro and red pepper flakes. For dipping, serve with tortilla chips, crackers, pita triangles, and veggies.
