Gus Modern is a contemporary home furnishing brand and he is using vegan AppleSkin Leather. This faux leather is made from upcycled apple cores and peels to create luxurious couches and chairs that are eco and animal friendly.
The material is manufactured in Italy from the byproducts of the apple juice industry such as cores and peels—to create a durable leather that mimics its animal skin-derived counterpart.

Gus Modern has released a new collection in two colors, cognac, and licorice. Meetings are arranged online to make an appointment at its Toronto corporate showroom. The furniture company sells its collections at more than 150 retailers’ showrooms around the world.
Apple-based vegan leather is an extremely versatile material that can be used in several industries. In May, the iconic actress and vegan mega activist Pamela Anderson partnered with French fashion brand Ashoka Paris to release a line of handbags made from AppleSkin in a variety of colors and styles.
