Using fresh Cheddar style Sheese with Garlic and Chives, make a quick and simple appetizer. They’ll undoubtedly be a success!
Ingredients for 12 servings
2 vegan puff pastry sheet
100g (3.4 oz) margarine or non-dairy butter
6 garlic cloves, smashed
100g (3.4 oz) non-dairy Cheddar-style cheese
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
How to prepare
Preheat the oven to 170°C/325°F/Gas 3 and line a large baking pan with baking paper.
Melt the margarine on non-dairy butter and set aside for minutes mixing in the garlic and herbs.
Brush the melted margarine mixture all over the pastry sheet (reserve a bit!) and then sprinkle the grated non-dairy cheese all over the foundation.
Now gently and evenly wrap the sheet into a log, then cut into roughly 8 pieces. Brush the remaining melted margarine mixture on each one.
Place each one on a baking tray (allowing room for expansion) and bake for 12-14 minutes, or until golden and puffy. Whether hot or cold, enjoy!
